I've just finished reading 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' by Joshua Harris! It's a sense of accomplishment for me because honestly, I feel that this is one long book to read.
Anyway, I have learn a lot of things from this bestseller book~ On top of that, in fact, I felt that God was speaking to me through this book. This book really relates to me well.
One of my favourite quotes in this book is "The right thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing".
Sometimes in life, we tend to rush into things that we want to attain, especially in relationships. In that case, we often ignore God's perfect timing for us. The ironic thing is that no matter how right we feel the time is, it will never be the absolute right time if God thinks the opposite way. And by ignoring that fact, we will actually end up with the wrong thing...
From this book, I have also come to realize the importance and the gift of singleness. Well, sometimes people tend to look at singleness as a "curse" and they rush into relationships. In the end, they always end up feeling depressed and upset about their relationships.
Singleness is a gift from God~ And I am appreciating my singleness as I can till the day that God decides to change it. ;D
This book is a really good book, and I've enjoyed it~ I would recommend you folks to read it too!
